He seemed on the verge of vanishing into the magical land of Christian Slater obscurity, but former Batman sidekick Chris O’Donnell is on the verge of a comeback. He’s shown up recently on Grey’s Anatomy, and now he’s landed a part in a big time blockbuster. Holy rusted metal Batman!
EW says O’Donnell has joined the cast of Max Payne opposite Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. The movie is based on the popular shooter videogame of the same name, and Chris will play an “executive” named Jason Colvin. Maybe that means something to those of you who’ve played it, but if it’s not Halo, I’m pretty clueless. Can this Colvin character be killed with dual needlers?
Executive John Colvin doesn’t exactly sound like a huge part in the film, but even if it isn’t it’s better than nothing, which is what Chris had going for him a couple of years ago. If Batman & Robin was going to destroy someone’s career, it should have been Clooney. Unfortunately it’s Chris O’Donnell who ended up taking the bullet. He’s overdue for resuscitation.

Yea. My buddies and I went to Toronto for a weekend to see an Iron Maiden concert and we just happened to run into the filmming of Max Payne on two streets next to our hotel. That was a first for me. Everything was made to look like New York so we were really thrown through a loop at first. Once we talked to a security guard we asked him what movie was being filmmed and he told us that it was Max Payne, so I knew Mark Wahlberg was there, but I wasn't expecting to see Chris O' Donnell. I couldn't help but laugh cause I thought he was dead.
