Chris Pine Gets A Different Hairstyle In New Jack Ryan Set Photo
Because he has already been established in the world of franchise movies, Chris Pine will have to work at making Captain James T. Kirk from Star Trek look different than the eponymous Tom Clancy character in the upcoming Jack Ryan.
We've already seen a couple shots of the actor from the set of the new movie that were taken before the film officially entered production, and while he looked pretty much the same as his Star Fleet counterpart in those pictures, now a new image has cropped online and it looks as though the star has done something radically different with his hair.
Posted over at EW, the photograph in question features Pine not with his signature blond spiky hair, but instead with a style parted on the side and much browner than what we're used to seeing. Honestly, it's a nice change when you consider that all three previous actors to play the part - Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck - have had the darker locks as well. The shot is described as being outside of the London School of Economics and you can check out the shot below.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the new film takes us back to Jack Ryan's early days. While living in Moscow and working as a covert CIA analyst, the hero discovers that his boss (Branagh) is actually behind plans to shut down the United States economy with a terrorist attack. The film also stars Keira Knighley and Nonso Anozie. To read more about and see more from Jack Ryan, head over to our Blend Film Database.
