Christopher Lambert In Talks To Join Ghost Rider 2![]()
Christopher Lambert is typically known for his roles in geek-worshiped movies like Highlander and Mortal Kombat, and now it looks as though he is ready to jump into the world of comic books. The admin of the Highlander Facebook page has announced that Lambert is currently in negotiations to play in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Already starring Nicholas Cage, Idris Elba, Johnny Whitworth, and Ciaran Hinds, the film sees Johnny Blaze brought out of seclusion in Eastern Europe when the devil tries to take over the soul of his mortal son. The announcement doesn't say what part Lambert will play.
As was announced back in September, the film is scheduled for a February 2012 release date. The project is being directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor and will be a direct sequel to 2007's Mark Steven Johnson adaptation of the Marvel comic. That said, a question must once again be repeated: why the hell are they making this sequel? Just like Connor MacLeod, there should be only one. |
