Cinema Blend Gets A Face-Lift

Like any bunch of hopelessly insecure, mildly talented writers we here at Cinema Blend fear change. But even we can only resist it so long. So today we said goodbye to our classic site design which was old and slow, and say hello to our new one which we decided on after we were unable to acquire some porcelain deer.

Yep, if you’ve been hanging around CB for any amount of time then the site suddenly looks utterly different. It also looks better and basically works the same. It’s just been waxed. Gleaming and freshly showered we’re ready for all the challenges that 2007 might bring us. It’s unfortunate then that 2007 is almost over.

Don’t worry though, the more things change the more they stay the same. We may be shinier on the outside, but on the inside we’re still the warm, fuzzy, sons of bitches you’ve grown to occasionally tolerate over the years. It’s just a minor upgrade.

So enjoy Cinema Blend’s new look, and feel free to celebrate it by visiting the all new Cinema Blend Store to buy things with blenders on them. Ironically, we don’t have any actual blenders. But we’re working on it. Maybe they can come pre-loaded with a copy of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon for easy blending. For now t-shirts, hats, and mugs for the drinking of alcohol will have to suffice.

Enjoy the new look, and if you have any questions feel free to have them ignored below. Or long for better times with everyone on our forums.

Special thanks to Blender Mike Hall for getting this thing to work and putting up with my panicked phone calls, and to CB's resident graphics guru Matt Sinopoli for coming up with our new logo after a long, and arduous design process (code for I'm a huge pain in the arse). Look inside Sinopoli's head to see the hamsters on his wheel by reading his blog of our design process here.
