Clear Images Of Optimus Prime Pics of what Optimus Prime is going to look like in Michael Bay's upcoming Transformers movie are nothing new, but pics where you can actually see something are. So far we've had blurry pics, zoomed out pics, and close-ups of his face with the eyes cut out.

Finally Paramount has let someone have a clear, concise set of pictures showing exactly what to expect from Optimus in robot mode. The good news is that we can finally really see him. The bad news is that I think I liked the way he looked better when he was blurry.

You can see all the pics over at AICN here, where Quint makes a rather apt observation: How are they ever going to make toys that can actually transform out of these crazy, pointy robot modes? What if the toys don’t transform? What a strange irony that would be.

I liked the Optimus design better when I couldn't see it properly, and the flames look even worse now. You can tell what they're trying for and it's not completely terrible the way Megatron is, but the body's too tricked up and the face looks a little too Anime/Insectoid and not enough Transformer.
