Comic Con 2011 In Video: Katey And Eric Wrap Things Up
Comic Con takes its toll on everyone-- by the time Sunday rolls around, nearly everyone you see in the convention center is under-rested, under-nourished, and probably more than a little smelly from all those days in close proximity to 100,000 other fans. But Eric and Katey soldiered through their exhaustion-- and in Katey's case, a seriously hoarse voice-- to bring you one last video wrap-up from the Con, going over both the highlights of Saturday's Hall H panels and a general overview of how the Con went in general. They talk about the lack of presence from huge upcoming films like The Avengers, the attention to smaller movies as a result, the historically huge lines for TV panels like Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead, and what the future of Comic Con might be if movie studios continue being a little shy about pulling out all the promotional stops in San Diego.
You can catch up on all of our Comic Con coverage here, but if that's a little overwhelming, here are links to some of the specific highlights brought up in the video: Francis Ford Coppola's wild interactive panel for Twixt We'll still have some more Comic Con coverage trickling in, but that's pretty much it for this year! Thanks for following our coverage, and we'll see you in San Diego next year! For more special, instant coverage from San Diego, visit our dedicated Comic Con 2011 channel. |
