Commercials For Rise Of The Lycans![]()
I lost interest in Underworld after… well, after about the first twenty minutes of the first movie. I appreciate what Len Wisemen was trying to do with his story, but it just didn’t gel for me. It was a movie that’s reach exceeded its grasp, with a story that felt far too redundant to not be showing anything new, particularly as someone who followed White Wolf’s “World of Darkness” game.
We’re not that far away from the third movie in the saga, coming January 23rd and focusing on the initial split between the vampires and lycans. A lot of people are disappointed that Kate Beckinsale isn’t returning for the picture, although, based on the two television spots that have popped up online, it doesn’t really matter. The new people behind the scenes may have found a good Beckinsale replacement in Rhona Mitra, but the commercials center the story less around her and more around Bill Nighy and Michael Sheen. Take a look at the television spots for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, embedded below courtesy of Shock Till You Drop.com. TV Spot #2 |
