Love it or hate it, you have to admit that Guy Ritchie's update of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle classic Sherlock Holmes looked fantastic. 19th century England was rendered perfectly in all its drab and rainy glory, every brick and stone as authentic as the next.

Now, thanks to HeyUGuys across the pond, we are getting a glimpse at what the film makers had to work from when crafting the overall look and feel of the film. Memorable scenes such as the shipyard fight and the hilarious exchange at Blackwood's tomb can be seen below sketched out in great detail, except for the actor's faces of course.

The movie has long been out on DVD, but with a sequel being fast tracked through the Hollywood system, this is likely Warner Bros. whetting our appetite to get the quippy detective and his trusty sidekick back on screen. Scope out the images below.
