Jennifer Connelly and real life husband Paul Bettany are planning to work together on a new psychological thriller called Born. There’s no faster road to divorce than having your spouse in the workplace. The Bettanys are now screwed.

Born is directed and co-written by relative unknown Daniel Simpson, but all kinds of other horror vets are involved in the project. Guillermo del Toro is producing it while Clive Barker helped write the script and is taking an exec producer credit.

Bettany and Connelly play a couple settling in an idyllic town to raise their family. Here’s the weird part. The husband is a claymation artist. How’s that for a realistic profession? Things start going badly when his claymation creations start acting out a nightmare that comes to life. You can never trust clay, once you give it arms and feet.
