What is wrong with you people? I mean, there is a lot of stuff out there in theaters and on DVD that you haven’t seen, why would you waste your time on these idiotic Bring it On sequels? Oh? Young girls in cheerleading outfits getting tossed around? You have a good point.
I didn’t even realize there had been four Bring it On movies so far. The only reason I know it now is the next one, according to Moviehole, is called Bring it On Cinco is going to start filming. I don’t remember much about high school Spanish, but I’m 98% sure that cinco means five. The first movie, starring Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, and Gabrielle Union, was actually pretty good, but I’m thinking the rest have gone the American Pie route and failed to keep up the quality.
The title should be a tip-off that the series has finally gotten past the black/white cheerleading conflict and moved on to the Hispanic/white cheerleading conflict. The movie will star pop singer Christina Milian as Lina. She moves from East LA to Malibu (what a fish out of water story!) when her mom gets remarried and has to turn her new school’s “second string” cheerleaders into champions. There is also a romance with a rich boy and conflict with his wench of a sister who is, you guessed it, a cheerleader. Even better is this will be directed by the same guy who put Mariah Carey through the paces in Honey. Something tells me DVD awaits.

That's Jessica Alba you're talking about. Either that or Glitter, if its that then its surprising that guy is actually able to find work. I'd figured he would be a one and done director.
