After his flashy acting debut in Get Rich or Die Tryin', 50 Cent's , a.k.a. Curtis Jackson's, screen career hasn't really gone anywhere. But he's still, well, tryin', now taking on a role in the police corruption drama Caught in the Crossfire. Variety writes that Jackson will star alongside Chris Klein, Adam Rodriguez and Richard T. Jones in the film, which has just started filming in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Jackson, true to his street heritage, plays "a gang-banger who becomes a reluctant informant." Presumably Klein, Rodriguez and Jones will fill in two of the other roles, homicide detectives stuck between gangs and dirty cops. Brian Miller is making his writing and directing debut with the film.
