I have to admit I haven’t kept up with all the viral games behind this summer’s Dark Knight. I don’t need the continual reminders that the movie is coming to be excited, although it has been fun to watch other people play, if for no other reason than it’s how Warner Brothers has been disseminating a lot of the movie’s goodies, including trailers and posters.
It looks like we might be getting our next trailer through these same sorts of games as early as Monday. Rope of Silicon noticed the same page that offered up the latest poster has been retooled with a new hint that tells viewers to gather friends at that spot (the website) on April 28th (Monday) with the directions that, ” These instructions will give you the TRAIL to follow, but be sure to look both ways when crossing the street; we wouldn't want you to make an unscheduled visit to the ER now, would we?”
The all-caps hint in there is TRAILER for the game-challenged.
Expect another scavenger hunt or the like before the trailer itself is unveiled, so those of you who have enjoyed playing and live in the listed cities (Seattle, L.A., Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Kansas City, Toronto, San Francisco, London, and San Paulo), gather together to get us more Dark Knight goodies. The countdown on the game page of WhySoSerious makes it look like Monday at 5:30 PST the game will be back on!
