Previously identified as a rock-star, widow, and junkie, Courtney Love can now add Porn Star to her resume.

Zap2It reports that Love has signed on to play well known "Deep Throat" porn actress Linda Lovelace, in the upcoming tentatively titled film "Lovelace". The movie will be a biopic of sorts, detailing her introduction into porn, adoption of radical feminism, and sudden death in 2002.

Love is best known for her public knack for wreckless behavior. She is in and out of rehab almost as often as she is handed subpoenas for disorderly conduct. The 40-year-old sadly just can't seem to get her act together.

She impressed audiences and critics alike with her daring role in "People Vs Larry Flint", starring opposite Woody Harrelson. Although playing another deviant isn't likely to change the public perception of her, being a party-girl trainwreck can do wonders for a girl's career. Just ask Paris Hilton.
