So far, the advertising for Jason Statham's upcoming movie Crank hasn't featured any phalluses, but that can't be far off. The movie's first poster had a hand holding a bad ass gun, and now we have the international poster, which features a really messed up heart.
Actually, I wonder if Crank's marketing team got a little confused on this one and thought they were making a poster for Saw III? Whatever the image was originally intended for, you've got to admit it's pretty good. It would also probably never pass MPAA muster here in the US. Lucky Euros. To see Crank's bleeding heart one sheet bigger, click right here.
But it's not all firearms and freaky hearts in the movie named after what's in Jason Statham's pants. In fact, the movie's mostly about ass kicking. Statham may not know how to pick scripts, but he does know how to do that.
The first trailer for the film has been released, and it showcases exactly that. Statham is a professional hitman whose a little stressed out, and he finds a fun way to release it. You don't want to end up in his way while he does it.
