There are things that once seen, cannot be unseen. Things like this creepy new poster for Splice. It’s sure to haunt my dreams. Pictured is the movie’s freaky genetic experiment gone awry and if you’ve seen the trailers then you know it only gets creepier and bigger as the movie goes on.

The film stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley as genetic engineers who use human DNA in a hybrid which they think will revolutionize medicine. The result is Dren, an amazing, strangely beautiful creature that exhibits uncommon intelligence and an array of unexpected physical developments. Actually I’m not so sure about the beautiful part. Of course Dren grows an a ridiculous rate and soon becomes their worst nightmare.
