The notion of a family moving into a haunted house immediately sounds like some kind of B horror movie, the kind of movie that snags a young starlet, opens at $18 million in January, and is never heard from again. But this particular one, Dream House, is directed by In America helmer Jim Sheridan, and even better, Daniel Craig may star.

THR writes that Craig is considering the role of the leader of the haunted family, but neither nor the studio have reached a deal. It would be a big bona fide, non-Bond leading role for Craig, who had to share leading man duties with Liev Schreiber in Defiance and otherwise hasn't really established a screen persona outside of 007. Is a haunted house movie really the way to go on this one? Since it doesn't seem wise to question Bond, I'm just going to go with it.
