He’s got an Oscar in hand and he’s the toast of Hollywood. Now it’s time for Danny Boyle to get paid bitches! The Sun claims the Slumdog Millionaire director may be in line to helm the next James Bond movie.
Their sources tell them that Bond producer Barbara Broccoli is pursuing Boyle’s services. In fact they say he’s been offered the job. Danny meanwhile, has never been one to do blockbusters. The new, grittier, character-driven direction for Bond could prove interesting to him though. The competition for his services is no doubt fierce. The guy just won an Oscar, and that likely means everyone in Hollywood is beating a path to his door in an effort to get him directing their movie. With so much to choose from, why go with a Bond movie, especially after the disaster that was Quantum of Solace? Danny Boyle can find something better.
