What do you do when George Lucas fires you as scriptwriter for Indy 4? You write the Mission: Impossible 3 script! Darabont replaces Robert Towne, who wrote the first two Mission: Impossible scripts; a crime that he should be held accountable for!

M:I 3 is still scheduled for release in 2005 with Tom Cruise reprising his role of Ethan Hunt, secret agent man. Cruise begins MI:3 after working on the Michael Mann thriller, Collateral. Cruise stars along with Jamie Foxx. Collateral is about a failed comedy writer (Foxx) turned cab driver in Los Angeles. Cruise plays a contract killer who is committing several crimes while with the cabbie.
