It is my fervent hope that Lindsay Lohan will soon gift the world with an early retirement, just so we can stop hearing about her. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like my wish will be granted any time soon. She graduated from her latest attempt at rehab this week, and now she’ll be back to work.

The overrated tabloid princess walked out the door of her Utah rehab facility on Friday and immediately went to OK! Magazine to offer them an interview. Yeah, she really hates all the tabloids. It shows. Anyway, in her interview she tells them “I'm staying in Utah until it's time to shoot 'Dare to Love Me,' and then I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused, and avoid other distractions.”

Since her self-created troubles Lindsay has already dropped out of two or three films, some only days before production was to start. I say they should count themselves lucky. Better no starlet at all than a drunken, stumbling starlet vomiting on the extras. But now it looks like she’s going to stop ditching work and actually show up for one of the movies she’s signed up for. So Dare to Love Me will be her first post-meltdown job. Unless of course there’s another meltdown… and there always is.

Dare to Love Me, which I’m already planning not to watch just because she’s in it, is a movie about Tango legend Carlos Gardel. Yeah, I have no idea who he is either. Sounds like another riff on the awful Hector Lavoe biopic JLo did earlier this year. The movie is set in 1920’s Buenos Aires. If they’re actually shooting on location in Brazil, expect to find Lindsay on a nude beach doing shots of Brazilian rum about five minutes after she steps off the plane.
