Death sure is a mystery. Some believe in reincarnation, some think there is a heaven and hell, others believe that you just rot in the ground. Because we will never get a finite answer on the subject, there is an unending number of ideas in any genre that screenwriters can use to make an entertaining film. Well, gentle readers, we have another one.

Date Night writer Josh Klausner, according to THR, has been tapped to write The Ten Best Days of My Life, an Amy Adams vehicle directed by Shawn Levy. Based on the book of the same name by Adena Halpern, the story follows a woman who, after dying, is sent to the upper-echelon of Heaven where she is told that she can only stay there if she can remember the ten best days of her life and prove that she lived a life worth living.

I've never read the book (I actually didn't even know of its existence until I started writing this article), but that vision of heaven is a bit screwed up, don't you think? It's like somebody took South Park's "Plane of Existence" parody and added in a first class section. Better hope there's no lower class uprising or Satan's going to be demoted to "co-manager of Hell Inc."
