David Fincher Kills

David Fincher Kills Boy, do I hate the French. I know they helped us out back in 1776 and the Statue of Liberty was a nice touch, but we’ve paid them back for that about 50 times over for both of those things. After reading books about WWII and the Napoleonic Wars, I’m convinced that we aren’t hard enough on that country. Still, they did create a comic book that a lot of people liked and now it will be made into movie. So it’s win-win!

According to Variety, David Fincher of Zodiac and Fight Club zealotry, is going to make a movie, The Killer, based on the French comic book written by “Matz.” His real name is Alexis Nolent, but here Alexis is a girl’s name, so maybe that’s why he uses a pseudonym. Luc Jacamon illustrated the comic which was published in France in 1988.

The comic book is about an assassin (of course) who begins to feel that it is wrong to kill people. What a novel concept. He is being chased by a cop, so his bad killing feelings are conflicting with his wanting to not get busted feelings. A script will be written by Allesandro Camon, unless everyone goes on strike, and then nothing will happen.
