De Niro, Pfeiffer, Kutcher And Swank Joining The Cast Of New Year's Eve?![]()
Every time I think that Robert De Niro is on the path back to being a respectable actor, he takes on a role that simply depresses me. It's been far too long since Travis Bickle had a truly strong run and if he keeps taking on projects like New Year's Eve, we're going to be waiting for a lot longer.
THR is reporting that De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ashton Kutcher and Hilary Swank are in talks to join the ensemble film that will serve as a follow up to this year's Valentine's Day. Set to be directed by Garry Marshall, the film already stars Lea Michele and Abigail Breslin and will about "lovelorn New Yorkers as they navigate their way through romance over the course of New Year's Eve." The film is currently scheduled to go into production in mid-December. Does anyone out there have Marin Scorsese's cell phone number? If so I ask that you please give him a call and beg him to make The Irishman as his next project. I cannot express how painful it will be to know that Robert De Niro will be in production on New Year's Eve with Ashton Kutcher while Little Fockers hits theaters - it borders on criminal. |
