I’ve known from the moment that Benicio Del Toro was announced for the lead in the remake of The WolfMan that he was perfectly cast. Now he’s “wolfing out” and showing everyone just how perfect he is.

AICN has gotten their hands on a jokey picture of Del Toro choking makeup artist Rick Baker, who will be providing the makeup for the movie. The picture is intended to be an homage to the old monster movie promotional shots of the ‘50s. What’s really funny about the image (small version shown on the right) is that Del Toro doesn’t have a bit of makup on him. That’s all him. Perfect, no?

I have high hopes for this, regardless of how much we typically rag on remakes. Del Toro is perfect. Anyone who disagrees can take it up with Benicio. Just try to stay away from him during the full moon.
