I guess I’m not the only one who has noticed Denzel Washington seems to be playing the same character from movie to movie. Well, he’s tackling that same role again, this time in the almost ironically titled film Déjà Vu. Washington’s character won’t be the only familiar thing about the movie – for this new picture Denzel reteams with his Man on Fire director Tony Scott.
The story of Déjà Vu follows Washington as an ATF agent who finds himself being led by his own feeling of déjà vu through an investigation that could save hundreds of innocent people, or sentence them to doom.
The first trailer for Denzel’s latest flick is out and… well, it looks like déjà vu to me all over again. Still, his movies have been successful, even if they are repetitive. Check it out and see if you think you’ve seen this movie before.
