There are few actors who can play a villain quite like Denzel Washington, and he has the Oscar to prove it. Playing Alonzo Harris in Training Day, Washington was a seriously evil, corrupt son of a bitch, murdering anybody that got in his way and selling out anyone who threatened the way he operated. Then he did it again in American Gangster, playing the notorious drug kingpin Frank Lucas. In a couple weeks Washington will once again be returning to his evil ways as Tobin Frost in Daniel Espinosa's Safe House. Want a preview of just how evil he is in the movie? Check out this clip via IGN in which he tries to choke out Ryan Reynolds with a pair of handcuffs... while they're driving.

Written by David Guggenheim, the film tells the story of a young agent named Matt Weston (Reynolds) who is put in charge of watching over an extremely dangerous fugitive named Tobin Frost (Washington) while in a CIA safe house. But when the house is compromised and the villain's enemies come after him, it is Weston's job to both keep Frost safe and prevent him from escaping. Safe House arrives in theaters on February 10th and also stars Vera Farmiga, Brendan Gleeson, Sam Shepard, Robert Patrick, and Joel Kinnaman.
