I’ve never been all that keen to know everything about a movie before I see it. Everyone has their own spoiler line, drawn somewhere in their mind, which determines how much is too much and how much is not enough. So figure out where yours is before reading any further, because a whole host of Thor spoilers have exploded on to the internet, and it may be a lot more than you really want to know.

The spoilers come from Superhero Hype and have been confirmed by Comic Book Movie where they say they have a secret source at Marvel who claims they’re all legitimate. Word is that Marvel held a screening using a rough cut of the still unfinished superhero film for executives, and that’s where this is all coming from. Since it’s a rough cut involved, some of this could change before the movie’s release. Still, we’re talking pretty detailed stuff here. There’s a good chance you don’t want to know. Here comes your final spoiler warning…

Warning: Massively over the top Thor spoilers follow. Stop reading if you don’t want to know more than you probably ought to know.

I’m not going to break down everything here, for a detailed report go to CBM but from the sounds of things an awful lot of this movie ends up taking place in the Halls of Asgard or in other outer-spacey locations. All of the big moments described by their spoiler report take place on things like the “rainbow bridge” and seem to involve gods being godly. It’s like all the god scenes from Clash of the Titans without any of the earthly stuff to get in the way. Apparently Thor doesn’t fall to Earth and then set about doing good on our planet or anything, mostly it’s all about internal god politics and wars with other beings from other planets. Honestly I’m not sure that’s what I expected and maybe their spoiler report is simply overly weighted towards reporting on the film’s more fantastical elements. Shouldn’t Thor stop a couple of muggers or something before getting back to his space palace?
