Like any time Leonardo DiCaprio gets cast in a film, we’ve been waiting patiently to see just what director Clint Eastwood is going to do with him. Finally, Eastwood has enough of his J. Edgar biopic put together to tease us with an image of the iconic actor playing the iconic lawman.

The image doesn’t really show off too much other than DiCaprio doing either one of two things, delivering a speech or answering questions in court. Chances are he’s in court delivering yet another baddie to prison. What we can tell though is that the hair and makeup department are on point. DiCaprio looks aged here but not to the point where it looks fake, and Hoover’s hair seems to have been transported directly out of the 1930s onto DiCaprio’s noggin. Scope out the picture below courtesy of EW.

J. Edgar Hoover spent his life creating the FBI and changing the face of federal law enforcement forever. He was a legend in his time and put many of the most notorious gangsters behind bars. But what about him and his private life? Eastwood’s film is going to explore just what was going on behind closed doors in the life of the G-man and take a look at his alleged homosexual lifestyle, as well as his corrupt underpinnings created by his absolute power over the law enforcement system.

A mere three months away from the scheduled November 9th release, this is kind of a late arrival for the marketing team behind the film. However, J. Edgar is perfectly poised to explode in Oscar season so expect to see many more images coming our way soon, and don’t be surprised to see a trailer in the next week or two.
