Jerry Bruckheimer has spent the last decade or so cranking out family-friendly blockbusters for Disney along the lines of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and the upcoming Sorcerer's Apprentice, and he shows no signs of stopping now. Variety reports that he and the studio have paid "low seven figures" to acquire the space adventure script Lightspeed, by Terry Rossio and Bill Marsilli.

You can probably guess that the story involves outer space; the main character is a pilot chosen for something called the Earth Interstellar Racing Team, who must go on a dangerous journey across the universe even as war threatens to break out. It's a whole lot of money to pay for a script with no stars attached, but Rossio's name may help explain it-- he wrote the original PIrates of the Caribbean and National Treasure: Book of Secrets, both of which were hits for Bruckheimer and Disney.
