Don't Judge It’s Kind of A Funny Story By Its New Poster
Talk about bad marketing. It’s Kind of A Funny Story is due to hit theaters on September 24th, yet we’ve heard nothing about it until today, the day we get this painfully generic poster from MovieWeb (but at no fault of the site, of course). The film stars Untied States of Tara’s Keir Gilchrist as a kid who’s stressed to the max and checks himself into a mental hospital. The youth floor is under renovation, so he’s got to bunk down with the adults and that’s where another patient, Bobby (Zach Galifianakis), takes him under his wing. When he’s not hanging out with his new mentor and his eccentric friends, he’s got his eye on another displaced teen, Noelle (Emma Roberts).
How is this project not getting more attention? Not only does it have a fantastic cast, but the trailer certainly makes it look like a quality film. Do yourself a favor and just take a peek at this weak poster and then move right on to the trailer below it. I’ve got a good feeling about this one and unlike those folks in that hospital, it’s not medically induced. ![]() |
