Dr. Horrible 2 Happening As A Movie?![]()
Plans are underway to bring back Neil Patrick Harris’s frustrated, quasi-evil, super villain for a sequel to Dr. Horrible. Shot in under 5 days Joss Whedon’s original series debuted as a web series, but Harris says they may have bigger plans for Dr. Horrible 2.
Speaking to MTV he revealed, “Apparently they're making a 'Dr. Horrible' sequel — a feature film, I hope.” That doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be a big budget extravaganza, part of Dr. Horrible’s charm was its low-budgetness. Harris explains, “You don't want to necessarily make the feature film be an $80 million giant movie, because it defeats the purpose of what the first film was made to be… "Then again, you don't want it to be so low-brow that it's not worth paying money to see as a movie.” Harris was quick to reiterate that nothings set in stone yet and they’re still discussing how to get the sequel done. But Dr. Horrible 2 on the big screen? It could work. Watch Neil Patrick Harris’s full discussion of Dr. Horrible’s future below: |
