Early Review Of Drag Me To Hell![]()
Heads up horror fans! If you've been looking forward to Sam Raimi's return to the genre with Drag Me to Hell, it seems the movie will be exactly what you've been hoping for. Collider correspondent David Lane caught the movie at a test screening in Burbank, and had nothing but praise for what he calls "the best movie I've seen in theaters in such a long time."
Granted, if he'd had any criticism, the review probably would have been pulled by the studio in a matter of minutes-- so take all this with a grain of salt. Still, it's hard not to jump in on his enthusiasm. "Everyone is good in it. I cannot wait until this comes out so I can see it again. I wish Raimi wasn't doing Spider-Man 4 and he just did a ton of movies like this. It's so great to see he still has it." The entire review is spoiler-free, so head over there to here his veiled descriptions of awesome car scenes, scares, and evil old ladies. The movie comes out May 29, and seems like a nice little alternative to the big-budget behemoths that will be dominating by then. I'm a horror weenie, and even I might find room for this between Up and Land of the Lost. |
