It’s the end of the world. I’m actually interested in a Paul Walker project.

We have the trailer and a couple of images from Disney’s upcoming Eight Below, the story of a pack of sled dogs that are left behind in the harsh cold of Antartica when the stupid humans who took them there get hurt and have to helicopter back to civilization. Naturally, Walker is one of these stupid humans.

Despite looking like a mixed breed cross of Homeword Bound and Snow Dogs, and probably being as manipulative as any Disney movie can be, the trailer looks interesting to me. I’ll bet when the film finally hits theaters there will be lots of comments about how the eight dogs can act circles around Walker too, and that’s really appealing to me. Any time you can take one of Hollywood’s least deserving pretty-boys and one-up his skills with animals is golden to me.
