It'll be a little while before you can start buying new Star Trek bedsheets and breakfast cereals and whatever else your fanboy heart desires, but it's not too early to start plastering one part of your life with Star Trek goods. The official Trek site has 8 new wallpapers for download-- excuse me, "dossiers" for download. You see, they give you information about key characters and give you something pretty to look at while you work.

My personal favorite is Kirk, but viewing some of the older Trek editions has given me a real affection for Bones, so I may wind up switching it up. And while you're there, tell me the background music doesn't sound a hell of a lot like Lost's. It's done by the same guy, Michael Giacchino, and now I just hope I don't find myself thinking about the smoke monster while boarding the Enterprise.
