Because we are reluctantly your number one source for all things Seed of Chucky, I feel it is my duty to report to you on which trailers you’ll be seeing before the movie. Not so much because I really want to encourage you to see Chucky bang Jennifer Tilly, but because some of you think Elektra is cool and apparently the two have become intertwined.

Cinescape reports that a source of theirs over at 20th Century Fox claims the first actual Elektra trailer (not those internet clips we’ve been reporting on) will debut in theaters attached to Seed of Chucky. Return of the Sith debuts in front of The Incredibles, so I guess Elektra debuting in front of Seed of Chucky is a pretty good indication of where the would-be-franchise sits on the geek love totem pole. The height of that pole of course varies, depending on what Jennifer Garner is wearing.

Of course as always this doesn’t guarantee that if you see Chucky you’ll see the Elektra trailer, since the theater chains only receive them with their print of Seed of Chucky and can take them out of the box and run them in front of any movie they wish. Even Surviving Christmas… if it actually stood any chance at all of still being in theaters by then.

The point of all this is that you ought to have broadband by now so you don’t have to see terrible movies like Seed of Chucky just to watch movie trailers for semi-interesting flicks.
