Eminem is on a one man mission to prove he has a sense of humor. This weekend, an animated version of the generally angry (though occasionally snarky) rapper hosted Fox’s animation block with Baby Stewie. Tonight he went on Jimmy Kimmel and joked around. Now it seems he’s teamed up with Judd Apatow. Remember, this is a guy who once beat up a hand puppet.
In a recent interview with Vibe, the rapper formerly known as Slim Shady talked about his Funny People cameo. This would be the spot where I’d normally offer up his quote, though since he says nothing other than that he has a cameo, that seems redundant. He has a cameo. Got it?
He also says it was “fun”, though doesn’t offer information on what kind of cameo we’re talking about. Does he play himself? Another comedian? Adam Sandler’s Latin houseboy Ronaldo? We don’t know. The movie casts Sandler as a comedian dying from a terminal illness and befriending an up and coming funnyman played by Seth Rogen. Don’t worry, he gets better.
