There is no actress in Hollywood who is blowing up faster than Emma Stone right now. Sure, she officially became a box office draw when Easy A performed better than expected in theaters last year, but she has Crazy, Stupid, Love premiering this Friday, had Friends With Benefits come out last weekend, spent the last few days at San Diego Comic Con promoting The Amazing Spider-Man and next month has The Help making its debut. Apparently, however, that's not enough for the young actress as she has entered talks for yet another high profile role.

Variety has learned that Stone is now in negotiations for a part in Ruben Fleischer's The Gangster Squad. In addition to reuniting her with the Zombieland director it will also bring her back together with Gosling, who is already attached to star. Should she take the part Stone would play Jean, a woman caught between Sgt. Jerry Wooters (Gosling) and infamous gangster Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn). Set in the 1940s, the movie is based on the true story about a group of LAPD officers who work to drive the East coast mafia out of their city. The film also stars Josh Brolin, Giovanni Ribisi, Anthony Mackie, and Michael Pena.

Is there anyone out there who is going to complain about Emma Stone's success? In addition to being beautiful, she has an incredible amount of charisma and aptitude, with the ability to play both comedy and drama. There are few actresses out there that had Stone’s talent at such a young age and any movie benefits from having her involved.
