The first full trailer for Eragon has officially arrived, in shining Quicktime and with sound this time. The production values for this film are obviously first rate, and you can tell they've put a lot of thought not just into how the dragon in it looks, but into how it flies and moves as well.
That said, the story still looks like exactly what it is: Something written by a kid. Sorry Eragon fans. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun, but I don't see much chance for anything more than that. If it has half the magic of Harry Potter or one tenth the emotional depth of Lord of the Rings I'll be pleasantly surprised.
