Sickeningly sexy Hitch star Eva Mendes is hopping on board with director Renny Harlin for his new movie The Cleaner, not to be confused with the horrible Lucy Liu movie Code Name: The Cleaner from earlier this year.
The Cleaner stars Samuel L. Jackson as an overly hygenic former cop named Tom who now makes his living cleaning up the gore left at crime scenes. When he inadvertently becomes involved in a job that's actually a murder cover-up, Tom ends up in a web of deception that brings to the surface his own family's long-buried secrets. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eva Mendes has been hired to play the widow of a slain man. She turns to Sam Jackson’s character for help. Also in the film is Ed Harris and Christa Campell as Tom’s daughter’s coach. Eva Mendes can next be seen next to Nic Cage’s burning head in the movie Ghost Rider.
