We think of Cannes as a place for people in white linen suits, talking about esoteric foreign films you'll never see and eating Brie. But apparently it's also a place where Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone and Jet Li still count as big names, and can get their names plastered all over giant, black billboards along the Croisette.

To reveal the first-ever poster art for The Expendables, the producer chose some key locations at Cannes and went with it, unveiling posters that feature winged skulls, the names of three of the leads, and the hilarious tagline "Semper Fight." Hopefully this is just the beginning of the poster rollout, and those of us who aren't spending this week in the sun will get a chance to see them all in person soon.
