Many, many people have described Adam Sandler's sense of humor as childish, but up to this point the hugely successful comedian hasn't done a movie strictly for kids. It turns out that's a shame: The trailer for Bedtime Stories, Sandler's next movie, has hit YouTube, and it looks both hilarious and perfect for an entire family full of imaginative kids.

The concept is beautifully simple. Sandler plays an uncle assigned to babysit his niece and nephew for the weekend, and finds himself telling them a bedtime story. The next day, everything he said in the story comes true in his own life. He tries to use this to his advantage-- telling stories about himself meeting beautiful women, or winning tons of money-- but when the kids add in their own elements, things start to go awry. Look closely for Russell Brand, last seen being completely hilarious in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

You have to head to YouTube to see the extended trailer, since embedding has been disabled, but it's well worth it. I actually laughed out loud at this trailer, and embarrassingly enough, it was at the easy joke at the very end. Still, the movie looks like a perfect Christmas Day opener, the kind of thing I secretly wish I could make my parents take me to still. Kids get to have all the fun!
