With the way America has been obsessing over dancing for the past few years, it’s kind of amazing that they haven’t done this before now. MGM has remade Fame, and it’ll hit theaters this September. I’m sure they’re praying it’ll work out better than that remake of Dirty Dancing which nobody noticed a few years ago.

If the new stills MGM just sent us from the film are any indicator, there’s hope that this might at least, be nice to look at. Some of the images are downright pretty. I’ve posted a few of the best ones below, visit our Fame image gallery to see them all in higher resolution.
