Oh I do not like this, not one bit. I realize that virtually every movie of the last 10 years has tried to ride the Harry Potter phenomenon in some way, but did the Fame remake really have to jump on that bandwagon? A new trailer for the September 25 film, posted at Yahoo! Movies, a whimsical narrator talks over images of a scarlet steam engine and a castle... only to introduce some younguns learning to "fly" to some hip-hop inflected beats. Gotcha!I suppose it could be worse-- they could have actually set Fame within a castle and given the kids wands to try and capture more of that Harry Potter magic. Check out the very short, fairly dazzling trailer for yourself below, but don't be fooled-- this is not Hogwarts! I repeat, this is not Hogwarts! Watch it in HD at Yahoo! Movies
