Famke Janssen As Iron Man's Girlfriend?

By Josh Tyler: 2006-10-01 00:00:00
Famke Janssen As Iron Man's Girlfriend? I’m not sure this even qualifies as a rumor, but it's the weekend and with Hollywood out to lunch there's not much else to report on, so here goes:

On Friday, we brought you the brilliant news that Robert Downey Jr. has officially signed on to play Tony Stark and his alter-ego Iron Man. Today CanMag is reporting that Famke Janssen may be cast to play Stark's love interest in Iron Man.

The idea is of course, rather attractive. Famke's worked with Iron Man director Jon Favreau several times in the past. They have a history together. Perhaps that's why CanMag was so quick to report it.

One problem though. CanMag bases their report on two random emails sent from two random people with no evidence to corroborate this claim except that they received two emails on the subject. Later today I plan to send CanMag two emails which claim Paul Walker will make his directorial debut by helming a remake of Citizen Kane. Let's see what happens.

Throw this one in the trash, until there's something more concrete attached to it.
