Most of the major roles in the upcoming Fantastic Four sequel Rise of the Silver Surfer have been filled, so now we're left obsessing over the casting of scenery.

The latest potted plant to join the cast is Beau Garrett. If you've seen her at all, it was probably on HBO's killer series "Entourage", in an episode entitled The Script and the Sherpa. She played Fiona, a fling of Vince's that stayed in the house longer than his boys wanted.

In Fantastic Four 2, she'll be playing a scientist and love interest of the Human Torch named Frankie Raye. A quick trip to Wikipedia tells me that in the comics she also had a fear of fire. That could prove interesting if they bring it into the movie. After all, she's dating a walking, talking Bic. Also in the comics she eventually develops superpowers, and replaces the Silver Surfer as the messenger boy of the planet eating monster Galactus. Could that actually figure into this film? I guess, but only if they make it four hours long.
