In case you haven’t heard, they’re making a movie about the Fantastic Four. Rather than being worried about the script, most fans seemed to be worried about whether or not director Tim Story can make a convincing blonde out of Jessica Alba. So I guess this is a move to allay those fears, since Fox has released photos of the cast all done up in costume.

The pictures though, only raise new questions, such as why does the Thing look like a tasty carmel surprise, or how can I get a poster featuring a suited up Jessica Alba? Seriously, start selling posters. Yowch!

The film stars “The Shield’s” Michael Chiklis as the Rice Krispie “Thing”, Jessica Alba as housewife turned invisible superhero Sue Storm, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm the Human Torch, and Ioan Gruffudd (played in impotent Lancelot in King Arthur) as the extra stretchy Reed Richards. I suppose we should thank Spider-Man for giving studios the courage to use a leather alternative.
