Farrell And Weisz Play In The Mud![]()
Let the mudslinging begin, as Colin Farrell has been added to the roster for Dirt Music, a drama based on the novel of the same name by Tim Winton. Farrell joins the team of Rachel Weisz, who will star, and Phillip Noyce, who will direct, reports Variety. Filming is set to begin this August in Australia’s Northern Territories. The story revolves around a woman (Weisz) who is struggling with loneliness. When a mysterious drifter comes to town (Farrell), her passion is set ablaze.
Both Farrell and Weisz have been opting for more interesting roles lately, Farrell with Malick’s The New World and Mann’s Miami Vice and Weisz with Aronofsky’s The Fountain and Wong’s upcoming My Blueberry Nights. Noyce, on the other hand, has made a career out of directing mediocre to decent films. Hopefully the instincts of Farrell and Weisz are enough to put some hope into this project. |
