Will Ferrell is all about the beer commercials lately. When he isn’t starring in local ads for Old Milwaukee, he’s also working on a number of big picture projects, including Casa De Mi Padre, which debuts (in color!) next month. This latest promotional video for the film seems to combine the movie with Ferrell’s recent interest in advertising beer.

Earlier today, we shared Ferrell’s most recent (very) local ad for Old Milwaukee, which you might have seen during yesterday’s Super Bowl game, if you happen to live in North Platte, Nebraska.

The ad below isn’t for Old Milwaukee and it doesn’t cut off abruptly at the end, either. A promo for Ferrell’s upcoming Spanish-language comedy Casa De Mi Padre, the ad is for “Escorpion” cerveza, and has Ferrell and a compadre (Efren Ramirez) enjoying some time on horseback, occasionally accompanied by a glorious eagle, after which they stop to enjoy one or two (or twelve) beers.



“For having more than 12” is the tagline for this particular brand of cerveza.
