You'd think that a movie featuring as much action and robot-crunching as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen wouldn't really need to resort to the old "floating heads" poster technique. And you would be wrong. The new, apparently final poster for Michael Bay's next adventure has popped up at Yahoo!, and it appears to have be a collected group of stills from the film, Photoshopped together with a lens flare stolen from Star Trek thrown in for good measure.
Go to Yahoo! for the full version of what you see above, and share in my frustration. Not that this lame poster will make anyone less likely to see it. Maybe that's the secret here-- they saved money on the poster designer to spend more money on custom designed sneakers for Michael Bay, or at least explosions.
