Michael Bay is the master manipulator. For every shitty change-for-the-sake-of-change thing he's done to seemingly ruin Transformers, he has almost always had something rather cool in its own right to counter with.
Earlier today we brought you the rather awesome Transformers TV spot. Well now the full theatrical trailer in stunning HD is available through crappy Yahoo. And goddamn if it doesn't get me all tingly in a way that normally only occurs only in the presence of sexy naked women. No seriously, I know what you're all thinking but it does. See it for yourself. Say what you like negative-wise (and you all know I have) there's something just uncontrollably kick-you-in-the-nuts amazing about the transformations on these guys, especially Starscream. This is pure, unadulturated, action-porn in its purest form. Even the classic "transforming" sound makes an appearance intact. I could go on about it but that would spoil it. Watch it NOW. Watch it HERE I challenge even the most ardent Transformer-loving Michael-Bay hating extremist to deny that this trailer isn't a thing of absolute beauty. Do not watch it in anything less than HD. Seriously, do not. Will I forgive Bay for the changes he made? Probably not. Will I be there on opening night? Most definitely. As I said, Bay is the master manipulator.
