After months of unexplained, last minute release delay, Charlie Bartlett at last arrives in movie theaters this weekend. Since I first saw it last fall, its star Anton Yelchin has landed the very high-profile role of Chekov in the new Star Trek movie. Had I known it at the time, I might have watched it with an eye for how he might look in a shaggy Beatles haircut.
Later tonight I’ll also finally get to post my Charlie Bartlett review, which has been gathering cobwebs in my computer all this time. It’ll be every bit as mixed as the movie itself is. But if you’re waffling about whether to see it this weekend, here’s an alternative to reading my review a way to make up your mind. The first five minutes of Charlie Bartlett is now online in it’s entirety over at Yahoo. You can watch it by clicking here.
